هدف البحث إلى التعرف على الذكاء الثقافى والتوافق العام لدى عينات مختلفة من دولتى مصر وماليزيا، وتكونت عينة البحث من (150) فردا من أعمار مختلفة ومن الجنسين من المغتربين عن بلادهم بواقع (99) طالباً جامعياً من الماليزيين المغتربين فى مصر بكليتى الطب و الصيدلة بجامعة الزقازيق وقد بلغ متوسط أعمارهم (21.2) سنة وانحراف معيارى (1.2)، و(51) فردا حديثى التخرج من المصريين المغتربين فى السعودية و العاملين ببعض الجامعات بمتوسط عمر (20.6) سنة، وقد بلغ متوسط عمر العينة ككل (26) سنة وسبعة أشهر وبانحراف معياري (10.1)، بواقع (64 من الذكور 86 من الإناث). وقد طبق عليهم مقياس الذكاء الثقافي ومقياس االتوافق العام. وباستخدام اختبار "ت "، ومعامل الارتباط، وتحليل الانحدار، أظهرت النتائج ما يلى: 1) وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائيًا عند مستوى (0.01) بين أبعاد الذكاء الثقافي والتوافق العام لدى عينة البحث الحالي. 2) لا يوجد فرق دال إحصائيًا بين متوسطى درجات الذكور والإناث في أبعاد مقياس الذكاء الثقافى والتوافق العام لدى عينة البحث. 3) وجود فرق دال إحصائيًا بين متوسطي درجات الماليزيين والمصريين في الدرجة الكلية لمقياس الذكاء الثقافى وكذلك فى ثلاثة من أبعاد الذكاء الثقافى لصالح المصريين المغتربين، 4) وجود فرق دال إحصائيًا بين متوسطى درجات الذكور والإناث فى االتوافق العام لدى عينة البحث لصالح الذكور. 5) وجود فرق دال إحصائيًا بين متوسطى درجات المصريين والماليزيين فى االتوافق العام لدى عينة البحث لصالح المصريين المغتربين. الذكاء الثقافى يسهم فى التنبؤ بالتوافق العام لدى عينة البحث. (الملخص المنشور)

The aim of this research is to identify the relationship between cultural intelligence and general Adjustment between different samples from Egypt and Malaysia. The sample composed of (99) students with average age (21.2) years and standard deviation (1.2), and (51) newly graduated Egyptian expatriates in Saudi Arabia and working in some universities with an average age (33.6) years, the average age of the sample as a whole (26) years and seven months, with standard deviation (10.1), (64 males and 86 females). They applied the scale of cultural intelligence and the measure of general adjustment. Using the T test, correlation coefficient, and regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) there is a statistically significant positive correlation at (0.01) between the dimensions of cultural intelligence and the general adjustment in this research sample. 2) There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of males and females in the dimensions of the Cultural Intelligence Scale and the general adjustment in the present research sample. 3) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of Malaysians and Egyptians in the total score of the Cultural Intelligence Scale as well as in three dimensions of the Cultural Intelligence in favor of Egyptians expatriate. 4) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of males and females in the general Adjustment in the current research sample in favor of males. 5) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of Egyptians and Malaysians in the general adjustment in this research sample in favor of the Egyptian expatriates. Cultural intelligence contributes to predicting the general Adjustment of this research sample. (Published abstract)
