The effectiveness of a training program to stimulate psychological immunity in reducing superstitious thinking at students of optics technology [Article]
The study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a training program in stimulating psychological immunity among optics technology students and the effect of this in reducing their superstitious thinking. The core study sample consisted of (40) male and female students from superstitious thinking at the second year at the High Institute of Optics Technology in Cairo, with an average age of (19.23) years and a standard deviation (1.86) years. They were divided into two groups, one is experimental and the other is a control group of (20) male and female students. The Stanford Benchmark for Intelligence was applied to the fifth image. Arabization: Mahmoud Abu El-Nil, Mohamed Taha, Abdel-Mawgoud Abdel-Samie (2011), the socio-economic level of the family for Abdel-Aziz Al-Shakhs (2013), the Arab measure of psychological immunity for the secondary and university levels of Soliman Abd El-Wahid (2020a), and the superstitious thinking scale for students The university, as well as a training program to stimulate mental immunity among optics technology students, which were prepared by the researcher, the study reached the effectiveness of the training program in stimulating psychological immunity among members of the experimental group of optics technology students where the impact of the program was large, which in turn led to reduced thinking Their superstitious, and this did not appear to their counterparts in the control group.
