The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of employing the interactive whiteboard in teaching geography to develop using map skills and achievement and the attitudes of secondary school students towards it. The study group consisted of (60) students from Shubra Al-Khaimah Secondary School for Girls, where they were divided into two groups (control - experimental), and the tools were The study in the direct / delayed achievement test, the map use skills test, and the trend scale towards using the interactive whiteboard for first-grade secondary students, and the results of the study resulted in a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the control group students and the experimental group students in Post application of the test of skills of using maps and the direct / delayed achievement test in geography for the students of the experimental group, and the existence of a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the control group students and the experimental group students in the scale of the students ’attitude towards using the interactive whiteboard in teaching a subject Geography in favor of the experimental group students, and the existence of a positive correlation between the skill of using the map and the achievement of geography During the use of the interactive whiteboard among first-grade secondary school students, "the study sample", and the existence of a large impact on the use of the interactive whiteboard in teaching on both the skill of using maps and direct achievement and direction among the students of the experimental group, and in the end the researcher presented a set of recommendations and proposed research in light of the results studying.
