يهدف البحث الى تنمية الوعي الصحي لأمهات الأطفال بالروضة من خلال برنامج إرشادي وقائي مكثف، واعتمد البحث على المنهج التجريبي باستخدام تصميم المجموعة الواحدة بقياسين أحدهما قبلي والآخر بعدي. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (37) من الأمهات للأطفال بالروضة منهن (19) من أمهات أطفال الروضة بالريف و(18) من أمهات أطفال الروضة بالمدينة، واعتمد البحث على مجموعة من الأدوات تحددت في مقياس الوعي الصحي لأمهات أطفال الروضة والبرنامج الإرشادي الوقائي المكثف الذى تكون من (9) جلسات تم تطبيقه على كل من أمهات الأطفال بكل من الريف والمدينة كل مجموعة على حدة. وتوصل البحث الى مجموعة من النتائج تمثلت في أن مستوى الوعي الصحي لأمهات الأطفال بالروضة متوسط، كما كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي رتب درجات الوعي الصحي لأمهات أطفال الروضة بالريف والمدينة بين القياسين القبلي والبعدي لصالح القياس البعدي. وأوصى البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات كان أهمها ضرورة تنمية الوعي الصحي لدى معلمات الأطفال بالروضة. The research aims to develop the health awareness of kindergarten mothers through an intensive preventive counseling program, and the research relied on the experimental approach using the one-group design with two measures, one before and the other after, and the study sample consisted of (37) mothers for children in kindergarten, of whom (19) were mothers of children Kindergarten in the countryside and (18) mothers of kindergarten children in the city, and the research relied on a set of tools identified in the measure of health awareness for mothers of kindergarten children and the intensive preventive counseling program, which consisted of (9) sessions that were applied to each of the children’s mothers in both the countryside and the city - each group separately. The research reached a set of results represented in the fact that the level of health awareness of the mothers of children in kindergarten is average, and there were statistically significant differences between the average degrees of health awareness of mothers of kindergarten children in the countryside and the city between the pre and post measurements in favor of the post measurement, and the research recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which was necessity developing health awareness among kindergarten teachers.
