The study aimed to uncover the negative effects of using high school students in Riyadh city for the new media (Twitter), and then access to educational methods to protect high school students from the disadvantages of new media (Twitter) from the viewpoint of the educational supervisors in Riyadh. The researcher adopted the descriptive (the survey) approach as the most appropriate scientific method for the nature of the current study, and the questionnaire which has approved to be the most appropriate tool for the nature of such study, been refereed and confirmed as valid and stable. The results of the study showed that the study individuals strongly agree on the negative effects of high school students’ use of new media (Twitter) with an arithmetic average of (2.39 out of 3.00). The study recommended teacher’s departments in cooperation with educational supervisors for the sake of intensifying students' awareness programs and seminars to clarify the negative effects of using Twitter. Educators are also recommended to instill in their students -through the Islamic education curricula –the observation of Allah and they are also recommended to intensify their participation in Twitter and work on rooting ethical values and principles in their Tweets to students.
