The study, using the descriptive approach, aimed to present an Islamic educational proposal to develop community partnership at the Faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University. The study. A questionnaire was utilizied to collect data, and applied on a sample of (725) from the local community, faculty members and the assistance staff according to the respondent variable (local community – Teaching and assistance staff). It was distributed as follows :( 580) from the local community according to gender variables (male - female), governorate (Sohag - Cairo - Tanta), and (145) from the teaching and assistance staff, according to the degree (member of the teaching staff - assistance staff) Specialization (Socail Service - Curricula and Instructions - Islamic Education – Mental Health- The foundations of Education - administration - psychology). The results indicated that community partnership in the Faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University came with a moderate degree, and that there are differences in the responses of the study sample from representatives of the local community due to gender in favor of males. Moreover, there are differences in the responses of local community representatives due to the governorate variable in favor of Cairo compared to Ismailia and Sohag, while there are differences in the responses of the faculty sample and their assistance staff due to the job rank variable in favor of faculty members compared to the assistance staff. There are also differences in the responses of faculty members and their assistance staff due to the speciality variable in favor of those in the social service specialization followed by those in in curricula and instructions one compared to the rest of the specializations. There are also differences in the responses of the study sample due to the variable of the foundation in favor of the faculty of education members and their assistance staff compared to the representatives of the local community. The study presented a suggested proposal for developing the community partnership in the faculty of education in the light of the above results. (Published abstract)
