هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء أثر استخدام استراتيجية مقترحة قائمة على دورة التعلم السباعية (7E's) في اكتساب عمليات العلم الأساسية لدى طلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط في مقرر العلوم بمحافظة عفيف. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي والمنهج شبه التجريبي. وتمثلت أداوت الدراسة وموادها في: أداة تحليل محتوى الوحدة الثانية من مقرر العلوم للصف الثالث المتوسط، واختبار عمليات العلم الأساسية، ودليل الطالب والمعلم المبني وفق الاستراتيجية المقترحة. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (48) طالبًا توزعوا إلى مجموعتين (تجريبية ضمت 24 طالبًا، وضابطة ضمت 24 طالبًا). أظهرت النتائج وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) بين متوسطي رتب درجات أفراد المجموعة التجريبية في التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي لاختبار عمليات العلم الأساسية، وذلك لصالح التطبيق البعدي. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) بين متوسطات رتب درجات المجموعة التجريبية ومتوسطات رتب درجات المجموعة الضابطة في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار عمليات العلم الأساسية (في كل بعد من أبعاده وفي المجموع الكلي) وذلك لصالح طلاب المجموعة التجريبية. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود أثر لاستخدام الاستراتيجية المقترحة لدى طلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط في مقرر العلوم، وتم التحقق من ذلك من خلال نتائج اختبار الفرضيات والتي كشفت عن: الأثر الكبير جدًا لاستخدام الاستراتيجية المقترحة في اكتساب عمليات العلم الأساسية، حيث بلغ حجم الأثر (0.995) على مستوى الاختبار ككل وهو يشير إلى حجم أثر كبير جدًا. وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة استخدام الاستراتيجية المقترحة في تعليم العلوم لطلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط من قبل معلمي العلوم في هذه المرحلة. واعتماد دليل المعلم والطالب من قبل معلمي مادة العلوم للصف الثالث المتوسط لتدريس الوحدة الثانية من مقرر العلوم لهذا الصف. The study aimed to investigate the Impact of Using a Suggested Strategy Based on the 7E's Learning Cycle Strategy on the Acquisition of Basic Science Processes for Third Grade Intermediate Students in science Course in Afif Governorate. To achieve the aim of the study, the experimental and descriptive approaches were used, and the study tools were: the tool for analyzing the content of the second unit of the science course for the third intermediate grade, testing basic science Processes and the student and teacher guide based on the proposed strategy. The study sample consisted of (48) students who were divided into two groups (an experimental group of 24 students, and a control group of 24 students). The study showed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post applications of the basic science Processes test, in favor of the post application. It also demonstrated that there are statistically significant differences (at the level of significance of 0.05) between the mean ranks of the experimental group scores and the mean ranks of the control group scores in the post application of the basic science Processes test (in each of its dimensions and in the total sum) in favor of the students of the experimental group. The study concluded that there is a significant effect of using the proposed strategy on the students of the third intermediate grade in the science course, and this was verified through the results of testing hypotheses: in particular, on acquiring basic science Processes, as the effect size was (0.995). At the test level as a whole, it indicates a very large effect size. The study recommends the necessity of using the proposed strategy in teaching science to third intermediate students by science teachers at this stage, as well as adopting the teacher and student guide by science teachers for the third intermediate grade to teach the second unit of the science course.
