هدف البحث إلى التعرف على مستوى مهارات حل المشكلات لدى طلبة جامعة الزقازيق، بالإضافة للتعرف على اختلاف مستوى مهارات حل المشكلات في ضوء بعض المتغيرات الديموغرافية، النوع (ذكور - إناث)، ونوع الدراسة (عملية - نظرية)، وتحقيقا لهذين الهدفين فقد أجري البحث على عينة قوامها (430) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة جامعة الزقازيق (187 ذكور - 243 إناث)، منهم (190) من الكليات العملية، و(240) من الكليات النظرية، بعد تطبيق مقياس مهارات حل المشكلات، وباستخدام الأساليب الإحصائية من خلال برنامج (SPSS) مثل المتوسط الحسابي والانحراف المعياري، واختبار (T) لعينتين مستقلتين، ومعامل ألفا "كرونباخ"، والتجزئة النصفية بطريقتي "سبيرمان، براون/ جتمان، ومعاملات الارتباط" أسفرت أهم النتائج عن أن مستوى درجات استجابات العينة لدى طلبة الجامعة على مقياس مهارات حل المشكلات (في جميع الأبعاد، والدرجة الكلية) (متوسط)، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث في مهارات حل المشكلات، عدا بُعد (التوجه العام) حيث كانت الفروق لصالح الذكور، كذلك عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مهارات حل المشكلات ترجع لنوع الدراسة (عملية - نظرية)، عدا بُعد (التوجه العام) حيث كانت الفروق لصالح التخصصات العملية. The aim of the research is to identify the level of problem-solving skills among Zagazig University students, in addition to identifying the different level of problem-solving skills according to gender (males, females), and the type of study (practical- theoretical). To achieve these two goals, the research was applied on a sample consisting of (430) students from Zagazig University (187 males - 243 females), including (190) from practical colleges, and (240) from theoretical colleges, after applying the problem-solving skills scale, and using statistical methods through the (SPSS) program such as the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, independent samples (T) test for two independent samples, the most important results revealed that the level of the sample responses degrees among (from university students) on the problem-solving skills scale ( in all dimensions and total score) were (average), and there were no statistically significant differences between males and females in problem-solving skills, except the dimension (general orientation) as there was statistically significant difference on it in favor of males, as well as there were no statistically significant differences in problem-solving skills due to the type of study (practical- theoretical), except the dimension (general orientation) as there was statistically significant difference on it in favor of practical specializations.
