The purpose of the current study is to develop the chemistry curriculum for the secondary level in Saudi Arabia in light of the (STEM) approach, and to achieve this, a list of standards that should be available in the chemistry curriculum at the secondary stage was prepared in light of the STEM approach, and then the curriculum content was analyzed in the light of the standards, and the results of Content analysis about the low standards of engineering design by a large percentage and the low standards of STEM integration, goals, activities, content, activities and strategies, materials and tools, technology means, and evaluation tools in light of the STEM approach in the current chemistry curriculum. the results of the study found: There is a statistically significant difference at (α ≤ 0.05) between the average grades of the students of the experimental and control groups in the dimensional application to test higher-order thinking as a whole and in each subskill skill, for the experimental group in the dimensional application. There is a statistically significant difference at (α ≤ 0.05) between the average scores of experimental group students in the pre- and post-post applications to test higher-order thinking skills as a whole and in each subskill skill for dimensional application. There is a statistically significant difference at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the average grades of the students of the experimental and control groups in the dimensional application of the higher-order test as a whole and in each subskill skill of their skills, for the experimental group in the dimensional application. There is a statistically significant difference at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the average scores of experimental group students in the pre- and post-creative applications of the whole and in each subskill skill of the group for dimensional application. Having a strong linear correlation positive is a statistical function at an indication level (α ≤ 0.05) between the scores of experimental group students in the dimensional application to test higher-order thinking skills and their grades in the dimensional application of the higher-order thinking test, that is, the higher the students' grades in higher-order thinking skills, the better their creative thinking.
