The aim of the research is to determine the level of musical intelligence (rhythm) among upper grades students (fourth, fifth, sixth) at the primary stage in Jeddah. A descriptive approach was used for this purpose and a musical intelligence (rhythmic) scale was prepared, consisting of five dimensions (hymns and songs, chanting and rhythm, collecting and classifying records, high memory music, musical concepts, and musical mood). The scale also consists of (20) items, and after verifying its validity and reliability, it was distributed electronically to a random sample of (290) primary school students in Jeddah, who were randomly selected from (5) schools. The results showed that the level of primary school students in musical intelligence (rhythm), as a whole, was average, where the means of the search tool items ranged between (1.66 to 2.59) with a standard deviation ranging from (0.65 to 0.86) and the musical mood dimension came in the first place with a mean of (2.09) and a standard deviation of (0.81), while the dimension of high memory music came in the second place with a mean of (2.03) and a standard deviation of (0.80), while the dimension of musical concepts came in the third place with a mean of (2.02) and standard deviation of (0.78), and finally, the dimension of collecting and classifying the records came in the last place with a mean of (1.81), and standard deviation of (0.77). The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the means of the musical intelligence scale (rhythmic) according to the fourth, fifth, sixth academic grades for all dimensions of the scale and for the total score, where the test value was (P = 2.53), which is not a statistically significant value at the level of (α≤ 0.05).
