هدف البحث إلى تصميم تصور مقترح لتطوير وحدة في مقرر العلوم للمرحلة المتوسطة ضوء منحى STEM. ولتحقيق الهدف، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في إعداد مصفوفة المدى والتتابع، وإعداد بطاقة التحليل في ضوء هذه القائمة، وتحليل محتوى وحدة دراسة الطاقة من مقرر العلوم للمرحلة المتوسطة ( عينة البحث). توصل البحث إلى عدة نتائج من أهمها: قصور التكامل بين مفهوم الطاقة ومنحى STEM عند تحليل محتوى وحدة دراسة الطاقة من مقرر العلوم للمرحلة المتوسطة حيث كانت النسبة كالتالي: 25% - 75% - 88% في الوحدات التي تتعلق بالطاقة مما يؤكد على ضرورة العمل على تطوير هذه الوحدة بما يتوافق مع منحى STEM. وفي ضوء ما تم التوصل إليه من نتائج، تم وضع تصور مقترح يتضمن التأكيد على وجوب وجود تكامل عالي مع منحى STEM، وبناء على ذلك تم تقديم التوصيات والمقترحات. The aim of the research is to design a proposed framework for the development of a unit in the middle school science curriculum with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) orientation. To achieve this goal, a descriptive analytical approach was used in preparing the scope matrix and sequence, and in preparing the analysis card in light of this framework. The content of the energy unit in the middle school science curriculum was analyzed as a research sample. The research results indicated shortcomings in the integration between the concept of energy and the STEM orientation when analyzing the content of the energy unit in the middle school science curriculum. The percentages were as follows: 25%, 75%, and 88% in units related to energy. This emphasizes the need to work on developing this unit in line with the STEM orientation. In light of the results, a proposed framework was developed that emphasizes the necessity of a high integration with the STEM orientation. Based on this, recommendations and proposals were presented.
