هدف البحث إلى تنمية المهارات العاطفية والاجتماعية لدى طلاب المرحلة الجامعية من خلال المقررات التعليمية من وجهة نظر الطلاب في ضوء المهارات المستقبلية. تكونت عينة البحث من كتاب المهارات الحياتية للمحلة الثانوية للعام الدراسي 1445هـ. استخدم الباحث أداة تحليل قامت ببنائها في ضوء المهارات العاطفية والاجتماعية. تكونت من خمس مهارات، وكشفت النتائج أن درجة مراعاة كتاب المهارات الحياتية للمرحلة الثانوية متوسطة، وأنها تقاربت بفارق بسيط في مراعاة المهارتين بدرجة متوسطة. وفي ضوء نتائج البحث، تمت التوصية بإعادة النظر في تطوير كتاب المهارات الحياتية لمرحلة الثانوية بما يلبي المهارات المستقبلية العاطفية والاجتماعية، وتوظيف التقنية في جميع دروس المقرر وإرشاد الطلاب للتعامل الآمن معها حيث يُعد ذلك من متطلبات عصر المعرفة. This research aimed to develop the emotional and social skills of university. This research aimed to develop the emotional and social skills of university students through educational courses from the students’ point of view in light of the future skills. The research sample consisted of the life skills book for the secondary school for the academic year 1445 AH. The researcher used an analysis tool that she built in light of the emotional and social skills. It consisted of five skills, and the results revealed that the degree of consideration of the life skills book for the secondary stage was average, and that it came close with a slight difference in taking into consideration the two skills to a moderate degree. In light of the research results, it was recommended to reconsider the development of the life skills book for the secondary stage in a way that meets future skills (emotional, social, employing technology in all course lessons and guiding students to deal with it safely, as this is one of the requirements of the knowledge age.
