هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة درجة ممارسة الإدارة الذاتية لدى مديري المدارس العربية الابتدائية في منطقة بئر السبع التعليمية، إضافة إلى تحديد العلاقة الارتباطية بين تطبيق مبادىءالإدارة الذاتية وممارستها ميدانيا. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من 98 مديرا ومديرة. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي الكمي، وقام بجمع البيانات من خلال بناء استبانة مكونة من ثلاثين فقرة. اعتمد الباحث مجتمع الدراسة عينة للدراسة بسبب صغر حجم المجتمع الكلي. أظهرت النتائج ضعفا في ممارسة الإدارة الذاتية لدى مديري المدارس، وضعفا في العلاقة الارتباطية بين تطبيق مبادىء الإدارة الذاتية وبين ممارستها ميدانيا. This study aimed to determine the degree of self-management practice among male and female principals of Arab Primary Schools in the Beersheba educational district, and to determining the correlation between the application of its principles and their practice in the field. The study population consisted of 98 male & female managers. The researcher used the descriptive/ quantitative approach, and the study population adopted a sample for it, because of the small size of the overall community. The researcher built a questionnaire to collect data which consists of 30 paragraphs. The results showed a weakness in the practice of self- management among school principals, and a weakness in the correlation between the application of its principles and their practice in the field. The study presented its recommendations in light of the results. (Published abstract)
