يهدف البحث إلى إعداد مقياس الكفاءة الثقافية لدى عينة من المقيمات الموظفات في المدارس الدوليّة في المملكة العربية السعودية، ويتكون المقياس من أربعة أبعاد، هي: بُعد المعرفة، بُعد الوعي بالذات، بُعد الوعي بالآخرين، وبُعد المهارات. تم التحقق من الخصائص السيكومترية للمقياس بعد ترجمته وتقنينه على البيئة السعودية باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية؛ نظرا للتنوع الثقافي للعينة البالغ عددها (224) من المقيمات الموظفات في المدارس الدوليّة في السعودية. أظهرت النتائج أن المقياس على درجة جيدة من الصدق والثبات والقابلية للتطبيق. The aim of this study is to develop a measure to investigate the Culture Competence of female residents working in international schools in Saudi Arabia. The measure explores four dimensions, knowledge, self-awareness, awareness of others, and skills. The psychometric properties of the Culture Competence Measure were verified after being translated. Given the cultural diversity of the sample which consisted of (224) female residents working in international schools in Saudi Arabia, the measure had to be presented in Arabic and English, and both versions were modified to conform to the Saudi culture. The results showed that the measure has high degree of validity, reliability and applicability. (Published abstract)
