هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن كيفية تطوير سياسات تدريب المعلمين في المملكة العربية السعودية في ضوء متطلبات الثورة الصناعية الرابعة. لتحقيق الهدف استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، والاستبانة كأداة للبحث. تكون مجتمع البحث من جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس في كليات التربية في ثلاث جامعات سعودية هي (جامعة الملك سعود، جامعة الملك عبد العزيز، جامعة الملك خالد)، والبالغ عددهم (947) عضو هيئة تدريس. أما عينة البحث فقد تمثلت في عينة عشوائية طبقية بلغ حجمها (273) عضو هيئة تدريس. توصل البحث إلى عدد من المتطلبات اللازمة لتطوير سياسات تدريب المعلمين في المملكة العربية السعودية بلغ عددها 14 متطلبا، وقد جاء أعلى هذه المتطلبات من وجهة نظر العينة "أهمية أن تسعى البرامج التدريبية إلى تمكين المعلمين من الكفايات التكنولوجية المتقدمة اللازمة للتعامل مع بيئات التعلم المستقبلية"، وأهمية "أن توفر وزارة التعليم برامج تدريبية تعتمد على أساليب التعلم الذاتي في مجالات الثورة الصناعية الرابعة". في حين جاء المتطلب "تطوير معرفة القائمين على برامج تدريب المعلمين بطبيعة الثورة الصناعية الرابعة ومستجداتها" كأدنى هذه المتطلبات موافقة من وجهة نظر العينة. The aim of this study is to uncover how to develop teacher training policies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The researcher used a descriptive survey methodology and a questionnaire as a research tool. The research community consisted of all faculty members in education colleges at three Saudi universities, namely King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and King Khalid University, totaling 947 faculty members. The research sample was a stratified random sample of 273 faculty members. The research identified a number of requirements necessary to develop teacher training policies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, totaling 14 requirements. The most important of these requirements, from the sample's point of view, is that training programs should strive to enable teachers with advanced technological competencies necessary to deal with future learning environments, and that the Ministry of Education should provide training programs based on self-learning methods in areas of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Meanwhile, the requirement "Developing the knowledge of those responsible for teacher training programs on the nature and developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" came as the lowest of these requirements in agreement from the sample's perspective.
