هدفت الدراسة إلى تحليل محتوى منهج العلوم للصف الأول متوسط في ضوء قضايا التربية الوقائية، وتقديم تصورا مقترحا لتطويره. استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وأعدت قائمة بتلك القضايا والتي بلغ عددها (21) قضية، وكذلك استمارة لتحليل المحتوى تم في ضوئها تحليل محتوى منهج العلوم للصف الأول متوسط. توصلت الدراسة إلى توافر بعض قضايا التربية الوقائية التي تضمنتها بطاقة التحليل في محتوى منهج العلوم للصف الأول متوسط، فجاءت قضايا التربية الوقائية الأمنية الأعلى تواجدا، وسجلت قضية السلامة والأمان مع الأشياء القابلة للاحتراق أكثر تلك القضايا تكرارا، والتربية الوقائية الصحية بنفس النسبة توافر، وسجلت قضية الغذاء الصحي أكثر تلك القضايا تكرارا، ثم تلتها التربية الوقائية النفسية، وسجلت قضية الأمن النفسي والمهارات الاستقلالية، والأمن النفسي والمهارات وحل المشكلات أكثر تلك القضايا تكرارا. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، قدمت الدراسة تصورا مقترحا لتطوير محتوى منهج العلوم للصف الأول متوسط. أوصت الدراسة بأهمية إعادة النظر في اختيار موضوعات المحتوى بما يتناسب مع أبعاد التربية الوقائية، وكذلك بإجراء دراسات مماثلة مستقبلية لتطوير محتوى مناهج العلوم بالمملكة العربية السعودية. The study aimed to analyze the content of the science curriculum for the first intermediate grade considering preventive education issues, and to present a proposed vision for its development. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and prepared a list of those issues, which numbered (21), as well as a content analysis form, considering which the content was analyzed. The science curriculum for the first intermediate grade. The study found that there was some preventive education issues included in the analysis card in the content of the science curriculum for the first intermediate grade. The security preventive education issues were the most prevalent, and the issue of safety and security with combustible objects was the most frequent of these issues, and health preventive education was the same. The percentage is availability, and the issue of healthy food was recorded as the most frequent of these issues, followed by psychological preventive education, and the issue of psychological security, independence skills, psychological security, skills, and problem solving were recorded as the most frequent of these issues. Considering these results, the study presented a proposed vision for developing the content of the science curriculum for the first intermediate grade, and recommended the importance of repeating consider selecting content topics that are commensurate with the dimensions of preventive education, as well as conducting similar future studies to develop the content of science curricula in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
