هدفت الدراسة للكشف عن دور الألعاب الشعبية في تنمية المهارات الاجتماعية من وجهة نظر معلمات الطفولة المبكرة. لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي لملاءمته للدراسة، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من معلمات الطفولة المبكرة واللاتي بلغ عددهن (3645) معلمة، وتم تحديد عينة الدراسة بأسلوب العينة (المتاحة) وبلغ عددهن (204) معلمة بنسبة (5,6%) من مجتمع الدراسة. تم استخدام الاستبيان كأداة لجمع البيانات للدراسة بعد التأكد من صدقه وثباته، ومن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة: جاء دور الألعاب الشعبية في تنمية مهارة المشاركة من وجهة نظر معلمات الطفولة المبكرة بدرجة كبيرة جدا بمتوسط حسابي (4.32) وبانحراف معياري (0.586). كما جاء دور الألعاب الشعبية في تنمية مهارة التعاون من وجهة نظر معلمات الطفولة المبكرة بدرجة كبيرة جدا بمتوسط حسابي (4.25) وبانحراف معياري (0.635). جاء دور الألعاب الشعبية في تنمية مهارة الاتصال من وجهة نظر معلمات الطفولة المبكرة بدرجة كبيرة بمتوسط حسابي (4.20) وبانحراف معياري (0.678). جاء دور الألعاب الشعبية في تنمية مهارة التأييد والمساندة من وجهة نظر معلمات الطفولة المبكرة بدرجة كبيرة جدا بمتوسط حسابي (4.23) وبانحراف معياري (0.654). توصي الدراسة بضرورة تضمين الألعاب الشعبية ضمن المناهج والأنشطة التربوية والترويحية في رياض الأطفال والمدارس وادخالها في تنمية المهارات الاجتماعية وكذلك الثقافية والحياتية. The study aimed to reveal the role of popular games in developing social skills from the point of view of early childhood teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was used to suit the current study. The study population consisted of early childhood teachers, whose number reached (3645) teachers The study sample was determined using the (available) sample method, and its number reached (204) female teachers, representing (5.6%) of the study population. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data for the current study after ensuring its validity and reliability, and one of the most important results reached by the study: The role of popular games in developing the skill of participation from the point of view of early childhood teachers came to a very large degree with a mean of (4.32) and a standard deviation of (0.586). The role of popular games in developing the skill of cooperation from the point of view of early childhood teachers came to a very large degree with a mean of (0.586). (2.09) and with a standard deviation of (0.635). The role of popular games in developing the communication skill from the point of view of early childhood teachers was significant, with an arithmetic mean of (4.20) and a standard deviation of (0.678). The role of popular games in developing the skill of support and support came from the point of view of Early childhood teachers had a very high degree with an arithmetic mean of (4.23) and a standard deviation of (0.654). The study recommends the necessity of including popular games within the curricula and educational and recreational activities in kindergartens and schools and introducing them to the development of social as well as cultural and life skills.
