استهدفت الدراسة التعرف على واقع الطلبة المتميزين بعد مرور عام على اكتشافهم من قبل جائزة رأس الخيمة للتميز التعليمي في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة للدورة السابعة عشرة 2020-2021م، للوقوف على أوجه الرعاية والدعم والتحفيز التي يتم تقديمها للمتميزين من قبل مختلف الجهات الحكومية والخاصة في الإمارة. وظفت الدراسة أساليب البحث النوعي في جمع البيانات وتحليلها واستخلاص النتائج من مجتمع الدراسة وهو ذاته عينة الدراسة، وهم الطلبة الفائزون وعددهم سبعة. أظهرت النتائج استمرارية لأنشطة التفوق بالمجالات الخمسة لمعايير التميز، واستفادة المتفوق وأسرته ومدرسته من نتائج تفوقه، وتقديم المدرسة والأهل التكريم والتشجيع؛ بينما لم تتفاعل إدارة الجائزة والجهات الحكومية والخاصة بالقدر المطلوب، وطالبوا الأهل والمدرسة بالمزيد من الدعم والتحفيز؛ بينما لم يطلبوا دعم من إدارة الجائزة ومن المجتمع الحكومي والخاص بالقدر نفسه، ولم يواجهوا صعوبات بعد الفوز، واقتصرت قبل الفوز على أعباء الدراسة، وتجميع الوثائق. وأوصت بابتكار أنشطة لتوسيع وتنويع مجالات التميز، وأن تباشر المدرسة هذا الدور. ووضع خطة لاستفادة الجهات الحكومية والخاصة من طاقات وقدرات المتميزين، وأن تتولى إدارة الجائزة ذلك. The study aimed to identify the reality of distinguished students a year after their discovery by Ras Al Khaimah Award for Educational Excellence in United Arab Emirates for seventeenth session 2020-2021, to find out aspects of support and motivation that are provided to distinguished students by government and private agencies. The study employed qualitative research methods in collecting and analyzing data and extracting results from the study population, which is study sample. The results showed the continuity of the activities for excellence, and the benefit of the outstanding, his family and his school from the results of his excellence, and the school and parents honor and encouragement. The award administration, government, and private agencies did not interact to the required extent. They called parents and the school for more support and motivation. While they did not ask for support from the award administration and from governmental and private community to the same extent. They did not face difficulties after winning, and before. It recommended creating activities to expand and diversify areas of excellence; school should assume this role. Develop a plan for government and private agencies to benefit from the energies and capabilities of the distinguished; award management to undertake that. (Published abstract)
