هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين قلق المستقبل والسعادة النفسية لدى حديثات الزواج وغير الحديثات منهن. ولتحقيق الأهداف، اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي المقارن، حيث تم تطبيقها على عينة مكونة من (128) طالبة دراسات عليا من قسم علم النفس بجامعة الملك سعود. تم استخدام مقياسين في الدراسة كأدوات رئيسية للدراسة. وكان المقياس الأول هو مقياس قلق المستقبل، بينما كان المقياس الثاني هو مقياس السعادة النفسية. إدخال وتحليل بيانات الدراسة باستخدام البرنامج الإحصائي SPSS، واختبار (ت)، ومعامل بيرسون، ومعامل ألفا كرونباخ. وبذلك أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن حديثات الزواج لديهن ارتفاع في متغير قلق المستقبل، وانخفاض في متغير السعادة النفسية مقارنة بغير الحديثات منهن. كما تبين وجود علاقة عكسية بين قلق المستقبل والسعادة النفسية لدى أفراد العينة. The study aimed to reveal the relationship between future anxiety and psychological happiness among newly married and non-recently married women. To achieve the objectives, the study adopted the descriptive, comparative, correlational approach, which was applied to a sample of (128) female graduate students from the Department of Psychology at King Saud University. Two scales were used in the study as the main tools of the study. The first scale was a measure of future anxiety, while the second scale was a measure of psychological happiness. Entering and analyzing the study data using the SPSS statistical program, the t-test, Pearson coefficient, and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. Thus, the results of the study indicated that newly married women have an increase in the variable of future anxiety, and a decrease in the variable of psychological happiness compared to non-recently married women. It was also shown that there is an inverse relationship between anxiety about the future and psychological happiness among the sample members. (Published abstract)
