هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى حوكمة نفقات التعليم ومستوى كفاءة الإنفاق في جامعة أم القرى، والكشف عن وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α ≤ 0.05) لحوكمة نفقات التعليم على كفاءة الإنفاق في جامعة أم القرى. اشتملت عينة الدراسة على (310) مفردة من القيادات الأكاديمية بجامعة أم القرى. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي كمنهج للدراسة، واستعان بالاستبانة كأداة للدراسة، وقد توصل الباحث إلى أن مستوى حوكمة نفقات التعليم جاء بدرجة متوسطة في جامعة أم القرى، وأن مستوى كفاءة الإنفاق جاء بدرجة متوسطة في جامعة أم القرى، ووجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α ≤ 0.05) لحوكمة نفقات التعليم على كفاءة الإنفاق في جامعة أم القرى. أوصت الدراسة بالاستفادة من التجارب الأجنبية في حوكمة نفقات التعليم، وعمل دورات إرشادية لقيادات الجامعة لتعزيز كفاءة الإنفاق. The study aimed to identify the level of governance of education expenditures and the level of expenditure efficiency at Ummul Qura University. In addition, identify if there was a statistically significant effect of education expenditures on the expenditure efficiency in Ummul Qura University at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05). The sample of the study included (310) individuals from academic leaders at Ummul Qura University. The researcher relied on the descriptive approach and utilized the questionnaire as the study instrument. The researcher revealed that the level of governance of education expenditures and expenditure efficiency at Ummul Qura University is average. In addition, there was a statistically significant effect of education expenditures on expenditure efficiency in Ummul Qura University at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05). The study recommended benefiting from foreign studies in the governance of education expenditures and guidance workshops for academic leaders to enhance expenditure efficiency. (Published abstract)
