هدفت الدراسة إلى التحقق من وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة بين جودة الحياة والثقة بالنفس (مرتفع - متوسط - منخفض) لدى طلاب الثانوية بمحافظة أضم. كما هدفت للتحقق من إمكانية التنبؤ بجودة الحياة لدى طلاب الثانوية من خلال الثقة بالنفس. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي. أجريت الدراسة على عينة بلغ حجمها (201) طالبا من طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة أضم، طبق عليهم كل من مقياس جودة الحياة (إعداد فاطمة الزهراني، 2021)، ومقياس الثقة بالنفس (إعداد صالح الغامدي، 2009). توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة ودالة بين جودة الحياة والثقة بالنفس، كما بينت النتائج أن الثقة بالنفس تفسر (38.1%) من جودة الحياة لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة أضم. بناء على ما توصلت إليه الدراسة من نتائج، أوصت بضرورة الاهتمام بتعزيز الثقة بالنفس لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية، وتوفير بيئة تعليمية تتيح للطلاب حرية المشاركة والتعبير وتبادل الأفكار، وتوفر فرص المسؤولية الذاتية، وتعزز فرص الاستقلال والاعتماد على الذات. This study aimed to investigate the significance of the relationship between quality of life, self-confidence, among high school students in Adham Governorate. according to the level of self-confidence (high - medium - low) among high school students. It also aimed to verify the possibility of predicting levels of quality of life among high school students through self -confidence. The descriptive correlation approach was adopted. It was conducted on a sample of (201) secondary school students in Adham Governorate. The quality of life scale prepared by Fatima Al-Zahrani (2021), the self-confidence scale prepared by Saleh bin Yahya Al-Ghamdi (2009), were applied to them. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant (0.01) medium (positive) correlation between quality of life and self-confidence. The results also showed that self-confidence explain (38.1%) of the levels of quality of life among secondary school students in Adham Governorate. Based on the findings of the study, the study recommended attention to enhancing self-confidence among secondary school students, and to provide an educational environment that allows students freedom of participation, expression and exchange of ideas, and provides opportunities for self-responsibility, and enhances opportunities for independence and self- reliance.
