The study aimed to identify the most prominent requirements for the development of the educational system in the light of the digital age, and to identify the skills necessary for the leader to develop the performance of the educational institution in the digital age, in order to reach proposed educational policies for the development and development of the educational system in the light of the digital age in educational institutions to meet the requirements of the digital age. The study used the descriptive, analytical, developmental approach to review the literature and previous studies. Accordingly, the problem of the study is determined in answering the following main question: What are the proposed educational policies for the development of the educational system in the light of the digital age?
