هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن واقع استخدام طلبة الدراسات العليا بجامعة أم القرى لقواعد المعلومات الرقمية واتجاهاتهم نحوها. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع طلبة الدراسات العليا البالغ عددهم (8625) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة الدراسات العليا في العام الدراسي 1443هـ، وتم اختيار عينة عشوائية بسيطة حيث اشتملت عينة الدراسة على (498) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة الدراسات العليا بجامعة أم القرى في الفصل الدراسي الثاني 1443- 2022. استخدام الباحث المنهج الوصفي الذي يقوم على دراسة الظاهرة كما هي في الواقع، واستبانة كأداة للبحث، واستخدم الباحث البرنامج الإحصائي الخاص بالعلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية (SPSS) لتحليل بيانات الدراسة من خلال تطبيق بعض الأساليب الإحصائية كالإحصاء الوصفي المتمثل في: التكرارات، النسب المئوية، المتوسطات الحسابية، الانحرافات المعيارية للإجابة على أسئلة الدراسة. توصل الباحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: القيام بحملة توعوية تثقيفية كندوات ومحاضرات وعقد دورات تدريبية مكثفة، والاهتمام بإزاله الصعوبات التي تحد من فعالية استخدام الطلبة، وتمضين مقررا يتناول مهارات استخدام قواعد المعلومات الرقمية، ويتعين أن يتم اختيار قواعد المعلومات الرقمية والاشتراك بها وفقا لرغبة احتياجات الطلبة، ووضع رابط لأخذ رأي الطلبة والإبلاغ عن المشكلات التي تواجههم لمعالجتها. The study aimed to reveal the reality of postgraduate students at Umm Al- Qura University using digital databases and their attitudes towards them. The study population consisted of all (8625) postgraduate students in the academic year 1443 AH. A simple random sample was chosen, which included the study sample consisted of (498) male and female graduate students at Umm Al-Qura University in the second semester 1443- 2022. The researcher used the descriptive approach based on the study of the phenomenon as it actually is, and as a questionnaire as a research tool, and the researcher used the Statistical Program on Humanities and Social Sciences (SPSS) to analyze the study data by applying some statistical methods such as the descriptive statistic: repetitions, percentages, arithmetic averages, standard deviations to answer study questions. The researcher has reached a range of results, the most important of which are: conducting an educational awareness campaign such as seminars and lectures and holding intensive training courses, and taking care to remove the difficulties that limit the effectiveness of the use of students, and the past two courses dealing with the skills of using digital information bases, and the selection and participation of digital information rules in accordance with the desire of the needs of students, and the development of a link to take the opinion of students and report the problems they face to address them.
