This systematic review explores the role of motivation and foreign language anxiety in second language learning within the Saudi Arabian context. Given the increasing emphasis on English proficiency for academic and professional purposes in Saudi Arabia, understanding the psychological factors influencing language acquisition is crucial. This review synthesizes findings from a range of studies, highlighting the interplay between motivational constructs and anxiety levels in learners. By critically analyzing existing literature, the review aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how these factors impact language learning outcomes and offers recommendations for educators and policymakers to enhance language education in Saudi Arabia.
