هدفت الدراسة للكشف عن مدى استخدام الإحصاء في الحاسوب في تحليل البيانات الكمية والنوعية في البحوث من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئتي التدريس والتدريب بالهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت، وتم تبني المنهج الوصفي، حيث وتم بناء أداة الدراسة المتمثلة بالاستبانة، والتأكد من صدقها وثباتها، وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بطريقة عشوائية والتي تكونت من (75) عضو من أعضاء هيئتي التدريس والتدريب بالهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت، وتم توزيعها الكترونياً على أفراد العينة. وأظهرت النتائج درجة استخدام الإحصاء في الحاسوب في تحليل البيانات الكمية في البحوث من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئتي التدريس والتدريب بالهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت جاءت مرتفعة ومتوسط حسابي بلغ (4.15)، كما وأظهرت أن درجة استخدام الإحصاء في الحاسوب في تحليل البيانات النوعية في البحوث من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئتي التدريس والتدريب بالهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت جاءت مرتفعة بمتوسط حسابي بلغ (3.96)، كما وتبين عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة نحو درجة استخدام الإحصاء في الحاسوب في تحليل البيانات الكمية في البحوث حسب متغير المؤهل العلمي، وتبين أيضا عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة نحو درجة استخدام الإحصاء في الحاسوب في تحليل البيانات النوعية في البحوث حسب متغير المؤهل العلمي، وكانت أهم التوصيات ضرورة تدريب أعضاء هيئة التدريس لإكسابهم المفاهيم والأساليب الإحصائية التي يتم استخدامها لتحليل البيانات والتي تساعد على تفسير النتائج بشكل صحيح وتجنب ارتكاب الأخطاء، وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة تدريب أعضاء هيئة التدريس لإكسابهم المفاهيم والأساليب الإحصائية التي يتم استخدامها لتحليل البيانات والتي تساعد على تفسير النتائج بشكل صحيح وتجنب ارتكاب الأخطاء.
