يهدف هذا البحث إلى اقتراح فرع جديد من فروع مادة اللغة العربية التي تدرّس في المدارس في المرحلة الأساسية في العالم العربي وأسميته "الإثراء اللغوي"، إضافة إلى منهج جديد للمادة قائم على مفاتيح التفكير (Thinking Keys) وعادات العقل (Habits of Mind) من الصف الأول إلى التاسع الأساسي. كما أعدت فرع الخط العربي إلى الواجهة من جديد لأهميته الجمالية والتراثية. وبذلك ستكون مادة اللغة العربية مقسمة إلى الفروع التالية: القراءة والتحليل، النحو (قواعد اللغة العربية)، البلاغة والعروض والإملاء، التعبير الكتابي، الإثراء اللغوي، الخط العربي. وقد تخلل هذا البحث أمثلة توضيحية لكيفية تحضير الدروس بناء على مفاتيح التفكير وعادات العقل. This research aims to suggest a new branch of the Arabic language subject that is taught in elementary schools in the Arab World and I called it “linguistic enrichment”, in addition to a new curriculum for the subject based on the Thinking Keys and Habits of Mind from the first to the ninth grade. It also brought the Arabic calligraphy branch back to the fore due to its aesthetic and heritage importance. Thus, the Arabic language subject will be divided into the following branches: reading and analysis, grammar, eloquence, prosody and dictation, writing, linguistic enrichment, and Arabic calligraphy. This research included illustrative examples of how to prepare lessons according to Thinking Keys and Habits of Mind. (Published abstract)
