The study aimed to identify the educational directives in the verses of the Iddah (period of waiting) and divorce in Surat Al-Baqara, and used the deductive method, by presenting the verses, explaining their interpretation, and educational directions deduced from them, and its results were: 1( The detail of the rulings on Iddah and divorce in the Qur’an indicates the importance of its education in regulating society’s affairs, controlling it, and establishing it. 2( Taking into account the education of the Holy Qur’an the rights of spouses in all respects, psychological, financial, physical, spiritual and social. 3( Education of the Qur’an combined causes and rulings, guidance after explanation, and guidance for the best makes its acceptance greater. 4( The importance of having system in the family, guardianship, and carrying out its affairs, in a way that achieves cooperation, love and stability. 5( The human need - husband, wife and child - and his lack of religious knowledge by which he is brought up and educated. The researcher recommended a set of recommendations in light of its findings. (Published abstract)
