The research aimed to identify the negative effects of children’s use of technical devices and their applications from the point of view of female teachers in the city of Taif. The research relied on the descriptive analytical method, using a questionnaire, and the research sample consisted of (314) female primary school teachers in the city of Taif who were randomly selected. The most important results indicated that the degree of negative effects of children’s use of technical devices and their applications from the point of view of teachers in the city of Taif was high, and the negative effects of children’s use of technical devices in the health field came in first place, followed by the cultural field, then the psychological field, then the religious field, and finally the field social. The most important negative effects in the religious field were the child watching inappropriate pictures and clips, and lack of interest in religious rituals, and in the social field they were the child feeling social isolation, lack of direct interaction with others, and achieving a type of false familiarity. In the health field, they included: problems with the eyes and vision, and pain in the neck and shoulders due to constant bending. In the psychological field, they included: the child’s anger, the child’s tendencies toward violence and aggression, and the child’s feeling of laziness and lethargy. In the cultural field, they included: preferring technical devices instead of returning. For books, the child’s neglect of his schoolwork, and the child’s low academic achievement.
