هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع التطوير المهني في الجامعات السعودية في ضوء معايير التصنيف العالمي للجامعات (QS) وتحديد متطلبات التطوير المهني في الجامعات السعودية في ضوء معايير التصنيف العالمي للجامعات (QS) من وجهة نظر القيادات الأكاديمية في الجامعات السعودية، ولتحقيق ذلك تم الإعتماد على المنهج الوصفي، والإستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات، وتم اختيار عينة تكونت من (231) قائدا أكديميا، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن درجة واقع التطوير المهني في الجامعات السعودية في ضوء معايير التصنيف العالمي للجامعات (QS) من وجهة نظر القيادات الأكاديمية في الجامعات السعودية جاءت متوسطة وعلى جميع الأبعاد باستثناء بعد جودة التدريس، جاءت بدرجة موافقة عالية، وأن درجة الموافقة على متطلبات التطوير المهني في الجامعات السعودية في ضوء معايير التصنيف العالمي للجامعات (QS) من وجهة نظر القيادات الأكاديمية في السعودية جاءت بدرجة عالية. The study aimed to identify the status quo of professional development in Saudi universities in light of the university international ranking criteria (QS). Furthermore, it determined the requirements for professional development in Saudi universities in the light of the university international ranking criteria (QS) from the point of view of academic leaders in Saudi universities. To achieve this, the descriptive approach was relied upon, the questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection, and a sample of (231) academic leaders was selected. The results of the study concluded that the degree of the status quo of professional development in Saudi universities in light of the standards of the international classification of universities (QS) from the point of view of academic leaders in Saudi universities was average on all dimensions except for the dimensions of teaching quality, and it was with a high degree of agreement. Moreover, the degree of approval of the requirements of professional development in Saudi universities in the light of the standards of the international classification of universities (QS) from the point of view of academic leaders in Saudi universities was high.
