هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف مستوى تضمين مهارات البراعة الرياضية في كتاب الرياضيات للصف السادس الابتدائي واكتسابها لدى الطلاب. ولتحقيق ذلك، استخدم المنهج الوصفي (المسحي، وتحليل المحتوى)، وأعدت أداتين: بطاقة تحليل محتوى لتعرف مستوى تضمين مهارات البراعة الرياضية (الاستيعاب المفاهيمي، والطلاقة الإجرائية، والكفاءة الاستراتيجية، والاستدلال التكيفي) في كتاب الرياضيات للصف السادس الابتدائي؛ واختبارا في هذه المهارات لتعرف مستوى اكتسابها لدى عينة قوامها (518) طالبا بالصف السادس الابتدائي في منطقة جازان التعليمية. طبقت الدراسة خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني (1441هـ- 2020م). أظهرت نتائجها أن مستوى تضمين مهارات البراعة الرياضية في الكتاب، كان منخفضا لمهارة الاستيعاب المفاهيمي، ومتوسطا لمهارات الطلاقة الإجرائية والكفاءة الاستراتيجية، والاستدلال التكيفي؛ بينما مستوى اكتسابها لدى العينة كان أقل من المستوى المقبول تربويا (75%). وقد ذيلت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات. The study investigated the level of including mathematical proficiency skills in the sixth grade mathematics textbook and acquiring grade's students for these skills. To achieve that, the descriptive approach (survey and content analysis) was used through two prepared instruments: A content analysis card for identifying inclusion level of mathematical proficiency skills (conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, strategic competence, and adaptive reasoning) in the sixth grade mathematics textbook and a test for identifying acquisition level of a sample of (518) sixth grade students at the elementary public education in Jazan Educational Governorate, Saudi Arabia. The study took place during the second term of 2020-1441AH. The results showed that the inclusion level of mathematical proficiency skills in the sixth grade mathematics textbook was low for the conceptual understanding skill, and medium for the procedural fluency, strategic competence, and adaptive reasoning skills, and the level of students' acquisition of these skills was lower than the educationally acceptable level (75%). In light of the results, a number of recommendations was presented. (Published abstract)
