This study was designed to determine listening preferences of undergraduate students attending Hashemite University during the 2008 first semester according to the Listening Styles Profile. The Listening Styles Profile defines listening preferences in four main categories: People- Oriented, Action-Oriented, Content-Oriented, and Time-Oriented. It was concluded that students are predominantly People-Oriented listeners. Listening preferences of students are not influenced by gender, and GPA, but there were differences among students regarding to their year’s levels. (Published abstract)
