The study aimed to identified the level of both feelings of psychological security and social competence, and the relationship between them among students with hearing impairment in light of: gender and class, on a sample of (125) male and female students. To achieve the purposes of the study, two valid and reliable scales were developed. The results indicated that the level of both the feeling of security and social competence was moderate, and that there was a statistically significant correlational relationship, positive and strong between them, and that this relationship between them was higher among students than among females, and higher among tenth grade students than among students of other grades, and the results also indicated that the contribution of the level of psychological security to social competence came at an acceptable rate, and the study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which were: Directing those in charge of caring for this group to draw up policies and strategic plans, to improve the quality of services provided to them, especially in the field of psychological care.
