تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى قبول أعضاء هيئة التدريس واستعدادهم للتحول إلى نظام التعلم الإلكتروني في أثناء جائحة COVID-19، باستخدام أنموذج قبول التكنولوجيا العام الموسع للتعلم الإلكتروني (GETAMEL). تكوَّنت عينة الدراسة من 509 أعضاء هيئة تدريس بجامعة الملك خالد ذكورًا وإناثًا، حيث تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية. أظهرت النتائج أن الكفاءة الذاتية هي أقوى المتغيرات الخارجية تأثيراً على الفائدة المتصورة وسهولة الاستخدام. وأن المعايير الذاتية ليس لها أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية على الفائدة المتصورة. الخاتمة: اقترحت الدراسة عدة توصيات وفق ما توصلت إليه النتائج ليتسنى للأبحاث والدًراسات المستقبلية الاستفادة منها. This study aims to identify the extent of faculty members' acceptance and readiness on shifting to the e-learning system during the COVID-19 pandemic, based on the General Extended Technology Acceptance Model for E-Learning (GETAMEL). The study sample consisted of 509 faculty members from King Khalid University, chosen randomly. The study results showed that self-efficacy is the strongest external variable influencing perceived ease of use, and usefulness had a statistically significant effect on perceived usefulness. Conclusion: The subjective norms had no statistically significant impact on perceived usefulness. In light of these results, the study presented a set of recommendations for future research and studies to benefit. (Published abstract)
