هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف درجة توظيف معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية في المدارس الحكومية بدولة الكويت المنحى الجمالي في التدريس من وجهة نظرهم. المنهج: اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على طريقة العينة القصدية، تكونت عينة الدراسة من 176 معلماً ومعلمة بمحافظة الأحمدي بدولة الكويت. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة أعد الباحث استبانة مكونة من 22 فقرة. النتائح: أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن تقديرات معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية بمحافظة الأحمدي بدولة الكويت لدرجة توظيفهم المنحى الجمالي في التدريس من وجهة نظرهم كانت عالية. كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في درجة توظيف معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية في المدارس الحكومية بدولة الكويت المنحى الجمالي في التدريس من وجهة نظرهم تٌعزى لمتغيري الجنس والمؤهل العلمي. الخاتمة: في ضوء ما أسفرت عنه الدراسة من نتائج قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات منها: الاستمرار في عقد الورش والبرامج التدريبية النوعية لمعلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية لتمكينهم من توظيف المنحى الجمالي في مواقف التعلم والتعليم اللغوي بصورة أفضل. This study aims to explore the degree of employment of social studies teachers in public schools in the State of Kuwait, the aesthetic oriented in teaching from their point of view. Methods: This study adopted the intentional sampling method. The study sample consisted of 176 male and female teachers in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, State of Kuwait. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a 22-item questionnaire. The results of the study showed that the estimates of social studies teachers in Al-Ahmadi governorate in the State of Kuwait of the degree to which they employ the aesthetic approach in teaching from their point of view were high. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of employment of social studies teachers in public schools in the State of Kuwait, the aesthetic approach in teaching from their point of view, due to the variables of gender and educational qualification. Conclusion: In light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, including continuing to hold workshops and qualitative training programs for social studies teachers to enable them to better employ the aesthetic approach in learning and language teaching situations.
