هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف دور الأسرة في الحد من التسرب المدرسي لطلبة المدارس الأساسية الأردنية في سحاب من وجهة نظر مدراء المدارس، ومعرفة إن كان هناك دور للأسرة في الحد من التسرب المدرسي من وجهة نظر مدراء المدارس في سحاب تعزى لمتغيرات: الجنس، المؤهل العلمي، التخصص، سنوات الخبرة في الإدارة، العمر. وللإجابة عن هذه الأسئلة بنيت إستبانة لجمع البيانات من عينة الدراسة اشتملت على (31) (فقرة موزعة إلى بعدين. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (50) من مدراء المدارس في سحاب خلال الفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي (2019-2020). اختيروا بطريقة عشوائية، وبعد جمع البيانات أدخلت إلى الحاسوب لتعالج بواسطة البرنامج الإحصائي للعلوم الإجتماعية (SPSS) وقد استخدمت النسب المئوية والمتوسطات الحسابية الموزونة واختبار (ت). وبتحليل البيانات التي جمعت كشفت نتائج الدراسة أن دور الأسرة في الحد من التسرب المدرسي لطلبة المدارس الأساسية الأردنية في سحاب من وجهة نظر مدراء المدارس كانت مرتفعة على البعد الأول حيث كانت نسبتها المئوية (75.18%)، وكانت متوسطة على البعد الثاني حيث كانت نسبتها المئوية (65.32) وكانت النسبة المئوية للإستجابة على الدرجة الكلية مرتفعة بدلالة النسبة المئوية (70.25%). كما وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α≤0.05) في دور الأسرة في الحد من التسرب المدرسي لطلبة المدارس الأساسية الأردنية في سحاب من وجهة نظر مدراء المدارس تعزى لمتغيرات الجنس، المؤهل العلمي، التخصص، سنوات الخبرة في الإدارة، العمر على الأبعاد كافة وعلى الدرجة الكلية حيث كان مستوى الدلالة لقيم (ف) عليها اًكبر من (0.05)، وبناءً عليه فقد أوصت الباحثة بالتالي: زيادة الإهتمام بظاهرة التسرب المدرسي ووضع الخطط والبرامج الكفيلة لمعالجتها قدر المستطاع، والعمل على مساعدة الأسر الفقيرة ماديا لغرض تغطية النفقات الدراسية لأبنائها، وفرض قوانين العمل ومنع تشغيل الطلبة. This study aimed to identify the role of the family in reducing school dropout for Jordanian basic school students in Sahab from the viewpoint of school principals, and to know if there is a role for the family in reducing school dropout from the viewpoint of school principals in Sahab attributed to variables: gender, educational qualification, Specialization, years of experience in management, age. To answer these questions, a questionnaire was built to collect data from the study sample, which included (31) items distributed in two dimensions. The study sample consisted of (50) school principals in Sahab during the second semester of the school year (2019-2020). They were chosen randomly. After collecting the data, they were entered into the computer for processing by the Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS). We used the weighted percentages and means and the test (T). By analyzing the data collected, the results of the study revealed that the role of the family in reducing school dropout for Jordanian basic school students in Sahab from the viewpoint of school principals was high on the first dimension, where its percentage (75,18%), It was medium on the second dimension, where its percentage (65,32) and the percentage of the response to the total score was high in terms of percentage (70.25%). The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the role of the family in reducing the school dropout for students of Jordanian basic schools in Sahab from the viewpoint of school principals due to the variables (gender, educational qualification, specialization, years of experience in management Age on all dimensions and on the total degree where the level of significance for the values of (P) on it was greater than (0.05), Accordingly, the researcher recommended the following: Increasing attention to the phenomenon of school dropout, setting plans and programs to address it as much as possible, and working to help poor families financially for the purpose of covering the educational expenses of their children, imposing labor laws and preventing student employment.
