هدفت الدراسة إلى تقييم كتب التربية الإجتماعية والمدنية للصف الثامن الأساسي وفق المنهاج الأردني من وجهة نظر المعلمين في سحاب، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف فقد تم إعداد إستبانة تضمنت (51) فقرة، موزعة على (3) مجالات وهي المجال الإجتماعي والمجال الوطني والمجال السياسي، وقد تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها بالطرق الإحصائية المناسبة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (50) معلماً ومعلمة لمناهج التربية الإجتماعية والمدنية للصف الثامن الأساسي في سحاب. وأظهرت النتائج أن أعلى تقييم كتب التربية الإجتماعية والمدنية للصف الثامن الأساسي وفق المنهاج الأردني على المجالات مجتمعة، كان المجال الوطني يليه المجال الإجتماعي ثم المجال السياسي؛ وأن جميع المجالات كانت ذات متوسط حسابي أعلى من (4.00). كما أظهرت الدراسة قصوراً في بعض معايير تقييم كتب التربية الإجتماعية والمدنية للصف الثامن الأساسي وفق المنهاج الأردني من خلال حصول العديد من الفقرات التي تمثل تقييم كتب التربية الإجتماعية والمدنية للصف الثامن الأساسي وفق المنهاج الأردني على متوسط حسابيا أقل من المستوى المقبول تربويا، من مثل: تعمق وعي الطالب بحلول المشكلات التي يعاني منها المجتمع الأردني، وتنمية روح المساءلة لدى الطلبة وتنمية روح تقبل النقد والنقد الذاتي لدى الطلبة. The study aimed to evaluate the books of social and civilization education for the eighth grade of basic education according to the Jordanian curriculum from the point of view of teachers in Sahab. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was prepared that included (51) paragraphs, distributed on (3) fields, which are the social, civilization and political fields. Ensure its honesty and consistency by appropriate statistical methods. The study sample consisted of (50) male and female teachers for the curricula of social and civilization education for the eighth grade in Sahab. The results showed that the highest evaluation of the books of social and civilization education for the eighth grade, according to the Jordanian curriculum, on the combined fields, the civilian field was followed by the social field and then the political field; and that all fields were of an average arithmetic higher than (4.00). The study also showed deficiencies in some of the criteria for evaluating social and civilization education books for the eighth grade, according to the Jordanian curriculum, through obtaining several paragraphs that represent the evaluation of social and civilization education books for the eighth grade, according to the Jordanian curriculum, on an arithmetic average less than the educationally acceptable level, such as: Student awareness of the solutions to the problems faced by Jordanian society, developing a sense of accountability among students and developing a spirit of accepting criticism and self-criticism among students.
