This study aimed to evaluate the book of biology for the ninth grade in Jordan from the viewpoint of biology teachers in Qweismeh district who taught the book for variables: gender, educational qualification, teaching experience, and the number of training courses that the teacher participated. To achieve this, the study was conducted on a sample of (05) male and female teachers studying biology for the ninth grade during the first semester of the academic year (2019-2020) Qwaismeh Brigade. The researcher used a questionnaire consisting of the following areas: (the general appearance of the book, the introduction of the book, the content of the book, the means and activities in the book, the contribution of the book in the development of students' attitudes towards biology, assessment methods included in the book, the appropriateness of the number of lessons for the content, the availability of laboratories and materials to implement Activities, suitable language book). The results of the study showed that the level of teachers 'appreciation of biology textbooks was generally high, and the results showed that there were no significant differences according to sex variables, educational qualification, years of experience, and training courses in which the teacher participated in the level of teachers' assessment of biology textbooks they taught.
