هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى الأعراض النفسية لدى الطلبة الموهوبين والعاديين في جامعة الملك سعود بمدينة الرياض، والكشف عن الفروق في مستوى الأعراض النفسية لدى الموهوبين والعاديين تبعًا للمتغير النوع (ذكر، أنثى)، ومتغير الكلية (صحية، علمية، إنسانية). ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم تطبيق قائمة الأعراض المعدلة: Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R) إعداد ديرجوتس Derogatis (1994)، على عينة تكونت من (586) طالبًا وطالبة بواقع (325) من الملتحقين ببرنامج الطلبة المتفوقين والموهوبين و(261) من الطلبة العاديين بجامعة الملك سعود، بواقع (237) من الذكور و(349) من الإناث، وذلك خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني للعام الدراسي 1442هـ. وقد أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الأعراض النفسية لدى الطلبة الموهوبين متوسط، وجاء الوسواس القهري في مقدمة الأعراض النفسية الشائعة لدى الطلبة الموهوبين، يليه الاكتئاب وحساسية العلاقات والأفكار البرانوئية والقلق، بينما كان مستوى الأعراض النفسية لدى الطلبة العاديين منخفضًا، ووُجدت فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين الموهوبين والعاديين في مستوى الأعراض النفسية لصالح الموهوبين. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين الذكور والإناث من الموهوبين في مستوى الأعراض النفسية لصالح الإناث، بينما لم توجد فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين الذكور والإناث من العاديين في مستوى الأعراض النفسية، كما لم توجد فروق دالة إحصائيًا في مستوى الأعراض النفسية لدى الموهوبين والعاديين تعزى لمتغير الكلية. This study aims to identify the level of psychological symptoms among gifted and Ordinary students at King Saud University. Also, it aims to explore the differences in the pathological symptoms level among gifted and Ordinary students referred to the gender and Collage (Health, Science, and Humanities). For the purposes of the study, the Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90- R) developed by Derogatis (1994), was conducted on a sample consisted of (586) student at King Saud University, (326) gifted student and (261) ordinary students. (237) Male student and (349) Female students in King Saud University class of 1442AH. Results shows that psychological symptoms level in gifted students was moderate, Obsessive-compulsive symptoms It was at the forefront of symptoms common in gifted student, followed by depression, and interpersonal sensitivity, paranoid ideation and anxiety. Whereas the level of psychological symptoms among ordinary students was low. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences between gifted males and females in the level of psychological symptoms in favor of females. Whereas there were no statistically significant differences between ordinary males and females in the level of psychological symptoms, and there were no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological symptoms among gifted and ordinary women referred to college variable.
