The present study aimed at enhancing secondary school students′ writing skills and engagement through using the successful intelligence (SI). Participants of the study were 80 second year El-Shaheed Ahmed Abdel Salam secondary school students at Fayoum governorate. They were divided into two groups; experimental and control, 40 students each. The researcher prepared a writing skills test, a writing rubric, an engagement scale and a teacher′s guide. Having pre administered the writing skills test, the engagement scale and taught the experimental group using SI, the participants were post administered the same instruments. The study concluded with some recommendations and suggestions for students, teachers and curriculum designers. Also, suggestions for further research were provided. (Published abstract)
