تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع التنمية المهنية لمعلمات المرحلة الابتدائية بإدارة الأحمدي التعليمية بدولة الكويت. استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لوصف الموضوع المراد دراسته؛ يمثل مجتمع البحث جميع معلمات المدارس الحكومية للمرحلة الابتدائية بنات بإدارة الأحمدي الابتدائية والبالغ عددهم (2504) معلمة، وقد بلغت حجم عينة البحث 300 معلمة، وتم تقسيم عينة البحث إلي 50 كعينة استطلاعية، 250 معلمة كعينة أساسية. توصلت الباحثة إلى أنه لا توجد رؤية واضحة لبرامج التنمية المهنية، عدم مسايرة تلك البرامج للمتغيرات العالمية المعاصرة وضعف الاستفادة من الخبرات لدى الدول المتقدمة، لا تلبي تلك البرامج الاحتياجات التدريبية للمعلمين وذلك راجع إلى عدم مشاركة المعلمين في التخطيط لتلك البرامج، تركز تلك البرامج على الجانب النظري دون الاهتمام بالجانب الفني والتقني ولذلك لا يتم الاستفادة منها، تتصف تلك البرامج بالنمطية والتفكير وذلك لأن القائمين عليها غير مؤهلين علميا للقيام بها، الوسائل المستخدمة في تلك البرامج تقليدية ولا تتناسب مع متغيرات العصر والوسائل الحديثة ولا يتم تطويرها بشكل مستمر، التخطيط لتلك البرامج يقوم على العشوائية وذلك راجع إلى عدم توافر قاعدة معلومات عن سير عملية التدريب، لا توجد معايير يتم في ضوئها متابعة المعلمين الذين حصلوا على تلك الدورات. This study aims to identify the reality of professional development for primary school teachers in the Al-Ahmadi Educational Administration in the State of Kuwait. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method to describe the subject to be studied. The research community represents all female teachers of government schools for the primary stage in the administration of Al-Ahmadi Elementary, whose number is (2504) female teachers, and the size of the research sample amounted to 300 female teachers. These programs do not meet the training needs of teachers and this is due to the teachers’ lack of participation in planning these programs. These programs focus on the theoretical side without paying attention to the technical side, and therefore they are not used. These programs are characterized by stereotyping and thinking, because those in charge. They are not scientifically qualified to carry out, the methods used in these programs are traditional and do not fit with the changes of the times and modern methods and are not continuously developed. Planning for these programs is based on randomness and this is due to the lack of information base on the progress of the training process. There are no clear standards that are carried out in its light is to follow up on teachers who have taken those courses. (Published abstract)
