هدفت الدراسة لتعرف أهم أبعاد التعليم الديمقراطي، وآليات الممارسة الديمقراطية بالمدرسة، وواقع الممارسات الديمقراطية بمدارس التعليم العام في مصر من وجهة نظر المتعلمين، وتقديم تصور مقترح لتفعيل الممارسات الديمقراطية في مدارس التعليم العام بمصر. وظفت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي. ومن أهم نتائج الدراسة أن محور المعلم والتفاعل الصفي قد احتل المرتبة الأولي فيما يتعلق بترتيب محاور أداة الدراسة من وجهة نظر أفراد عينة الدراسة. وجاء محور الإدارة المدرسية في المرتبة الثانية. وفي المرتبة الأخيرة جاء محور المنهج وطرق التدريس. كما قدمت الدراسة تصورها المقترح لتفعيل الممارسات الديمقراطية في مدارس التعليم العام. The study aimed to identify the most important dimensions of democratic education, and the mechanisms of democratic practice at school, And the reality of democratic practices in public education schools in Egypt from the point of view of learners, and to present a proposed proposal for activate democratic practices in public education schools in Egypt. the study used the descriptive method. The most important results of the study that the axis of teacher and classroom interaction ranked first in relation to the order of axes of the study tool from the point of view of the members of the study sample. And the school's administration axis came second. the last rank came the curriculum and teaching methods. The study also presented its proposed proposal for activating democratic practices in public education schools. (Published abstract)
