هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى الوعي الصحي الوقائي لدى طلاب الجامعات المصرية لمواجهة فيروس كورونا المستجد، ومصادر المعلومات عنه والمشكلات التعليمية الناتجة عنه، ووضع تصور مقترح لتنمية وعي الطلاب لمواجهته. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي مستعينة بأحد أدوات هذا المنهج وهي الاستبانة، والتي طبقت على عينة قوامها (825) طالبا بالجامعات المصرية في مختلف قطاعات الجمهورية وهي جامعات القاهرة والدلتا وجامعات شمال مصر وجامعات صعيد مصر. توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أبرزها أن مستوى المعرفة والوعي الصحي الوقائي لمواجهة فيروس كورونا المستجد ومصادر المعلومات عنه والمشكلات التعليمية الناجمة عنه لدى طلاب الجامعات المصرية كان متوسطا، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى الوعي الصحي الوقائي لأفراد العينة تعزى إلى متغيرات الدراسة وهي (النوع والتخصص العلمي ومحل الإقامة وموقع الجامعة والمستوى الأكاديمي للطلاب والمستوى التعليمي للوالدين والمستوى الاقتصادي لأسر الطلاب من أفراد العينة)، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى وضع تصور مقترح لتنمية الوعي الصحي الوقائي لطلاب الجامعات المصرية لمواجهة فيروس كورونا المستجد. The study aims at investigating the level of preventive health awareness among Egyptian university students regarding coronavirus, the sources of information, the educational problems, and developing a proposed vision to enhance students’ awareness to confront it. The population of this study consists of 825 students of different universities in three regions in Egypt, namely the universities of Cairo, the Delta, the universities of northern Egypt, and the universities of Upper Egypt. The results reveal that there were statistically significant differences in the level of preventive health awareness of the sample members due to the study variables (gender, scientific department, place of residence, university location, students’ academic level, educational level of parents, and the economic level of the students’ families. the study findings provide a proposed vision that can assist to develop preventive health awareness of Egyptian university students, thereby confronting the emerging coronavirus.
