هدف البحث إلى معرفة أبرز الاتجاهات التي يمكن الاستفادة منها في تطوير المراكز البحثية في جامعة صنعاء. تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وتوصل البحث إلى عدد من الاستنتاجات، أهمها: أن للمراكز البحثية دور متقدم في قيادة السياسات العالمية، حيث صارت أداة رئيسية لإنتاج العديد من المشروعات الاستراتيجية الفاعلة، وأن المراكز البحثية هي إحدى حلقات الوصل التي تربط الجامعة بالمجتمع ومن خلالها تقدم الجامعة الاستشارات العلمية، وأن المراكز العلمية والبحثية تكتسب أهميتها في البلدان المتقدمة والنامية من خلال أدوارها السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والأكاديمية، كما توضح النتائج أنه لا يوجد مادة في قانون التعليم العالي توضح أهداف المراكز العلمية والبحثية في الجامعات بصورة مستقلة ولكن تم تضمينها ضمن مؤسسات التعليم العالي. وأن الاتجاهات الحديثة تمثل رافد مهم للأخذ بها في تطوير المراكز البحثية في جامعة صنعاء؛ وذلك نظرا لما حققته تلك الاتجاهات من نجاحات وما أحدثته من نقلة نوعية في مجال البحث العلمي. وخلص البحث إلى تقديم عدد من التوصيات أهمها: ضرورة وضع أهداف موحدة للمراكز البحثية وربطها بأهداف التنمية في اليمن، وضرورة الاستفادة من الاتجاهات الحديثة لتطوير مراكز البحث العلمي في جامعة صنعاء. The aim of the current research is to find out the most prominent modern trends that can be used in developing research centers at Sana'a University, and the descriptive approach was used, and the research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are: that the centers research is an advanced role in leading global policies, as it has become a major tool for the production of many effective strategic projects, and that research centers are one of the links linking the university to society and through which the university provides scientific advice And that scientific and research centers are gaining their importance in developed and developing countries through their political, economic, social and academic roles, and the results also show that there is no article in the Higher Education Law that clarifies the objectives of scientific and research centers in universities independently, but it has been included in higher education institutions. That modern trends represent an important tributary to be taken in the development of research centers at Sana'a University This is due to the successes achieved by these trends and the qualitative leap they brought in the field of scientific research. The research concluded by presenting a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: the need to set unified goals for research centers and link them to development goals in Yemen, and the need to take advantage of modern trends to develop scientific research centers at Sana'a University.
