هدفت هذه الدراسة تعرف الأنماط القيادية السائدة لدى مديري المدارس الثانوية في محافظة جرش وعلاقتها بتجويد الأداء من وجهة نظر المعلمين. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (495) معلما ومعلمة، واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطوير استبانة تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن النمط الديمقراطي جاء بالترتيب الأول بين الأنماط القيادية السائدة لدى مديري المدارس الثانوية بمحافظة جرش بدرجة تقييم مرتفعة. وأظهرت أن الدرجة الأعلى لممارسة مديري المدارس الثانوية بمحافظة جرش لأدوارهم بتجويد الأداء من وجهة نظر المعلمين جاءت لمجال "الأداء الإداري" بدرجة تقييم مرتفعة، وأظهرت وجود علاقة ارتباطية طردية موجبة بين الأنماط القيادية وتجويد الأداء. The purpose of this study is to investigate the common styles of leadership adopted by head masters of high schools and how they are related to performance improvement from the perspective of teachers in Jerash, Jordan. A sample to consist of 125 male teachers and 123 female ones was selected for the academic year of 2017-2018. Based on the analytical descriptive approach, a questionnaire was developed for collecting data as a survey- based technique- the study showed that the democratic style ranked first as the most common on adopted by the head masters of high schools in Jerash with a mean of 3.91 (SD=76.0) and high degree of evaluation moreover, the most considerable role played by the subject head master in improving performance from the perspective of their teachers was the administrative on with a mean of 3.91 (SD=76.0) and a high degree of evaluation. Eventually, appositively increasing, statistically significant relationship (a=0.05) was found between the leadership styles and performance improvement. (Published abstract)
