هدف البحث الحالي تقصي أثر التدريس باستخدام نموذج بيركنز وبلايث في تنمية الدافعية لتعلم الكيمياء والتحصيل الدراسي لدى طالبات الصف العاشر، تم استخدام المنهج شبه التجريبي لتحقيق أغراض البحث، وتكونت عينة البحث من (60) طالبة من طالبات الصف العاشر؛ وُزعت عشوائيا بالتساوي بواقع (30) طالبة في المجموعة الضابطة التي تم تدريسها بالطريقة الاعتيادية، و(30) طالبة تم تدريسها باستخدام نموذج بيركنز وبلايث. وبهدف جمع البيانات تم تطبيق أداتي البحث قبليا وبعديا على المجموعتين، والمتمثلة بمقياس الدافعية للتعلم واختبار التحصيل، كشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لدرجات طالبات المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في كل من الدافعية للتعلم والتحصيل الدراسي، ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية التي درست وفق نموذج بيركنز وبلايث. وبناء على النتائج تمت صياغة مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات. The research aimed to investigate the impact of teaching using Perkins and Blythe model in developing motivation towards learning and academic achievement for tenth grade female students. The quasi-experimental approach was chosen to achieve the purposes of the research. The research sample consisted of 60 tenth grade female student divided equally into 30 female students as a control group, who were taught with the traditional teaching method, and 30 female students as an experimental group taught according to Perkins and Blythe model. Two tools were utilized before and after on both groups; motivation for learning scale and achievement test were applied before and after on the two groups. The results revealed a statistically significant difference at the level of significance between the mean scores of the two groups on motivation scale and achievement test in favor of the experimental group that was taught according to the Perkins and Blythe model. In light of the results, a set of recommendations and proposals were suggested. (Published abstract)
