هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة القيم الاجتماعية المتضمنة في محتوى مادة الاجتماعيات للمرحلة المتوسطة في دولة الكويت، ومن أجل تحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحثان منهج تحليل المضمون والذي يتناسب وطبيعية هذه الدراسة، وتم تطوير أداة الدراسة المتكونة من (15) قيمة اجتماعية، وتمثلت عينة الدراسة من (22) وحدة دراسية في جميع كتب مادة الاجتماعيات في المرحلة المتوسطة في دولة الكويت، ومن خلال عرض النتائج تبين أن قيمة (التعاون الاجتماعي) قد جاءت بالمرتبة الأولى كأثر قيمة اجتماعية متضمنة ومن ثم تليها قيمة (المحافظة على الممتلكات العامة والخاصة)، في حين جاءت قيمة (آداب الحوار) كأقل قيمة اجتماعية متضمنة في مادة الاجتماعيات، وكذلك قيم (صلة الرحم) كثاني أقل قيمة اجتماعية متضمنة، وفي ضوء النتائج تم أوصى الباحثان لمجموعة من النتائج ومنها ما يلي: العمل على إضافة تضمين بعض القيم الاجتماعية التي تضمنت بشكل ضعيف كقيم آداب الحوار وصلة الرحم واحترام كبار السن، التركيز على استخدام الوسائل التعليمية كالصور والرسومات ذات الدلالة على أهمية القيم الاجتماعية. The study aimed to know the social values included in the social subject for the content of the social subject for the intermediate stage in the State of Kuwait. The results showed that (the value of social cooperation) ranked first as the impact of an included social value, followed by the value of (preserving public and private properties), while the value of (the etiquette of dialogue) came as the least social value included in the social subject, as well as the values of (relations of ties of kinship) as the second least included social value, and in light of the results, the following was recommended: work to add and include some social values that were weakly included, such as the values of etiquette of dialogue, kinship and respect for the elderly, focusing on the use of educational aids such as pictures and graphics that indicate the importance of social values.
