هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على تصورات طلبة كلية التربية نحو التعليم ما بعد الثانوي للأفراد ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية، بالإضافة إلى الكشف عن ما إذا كان هناك فروق في استجابات افراد العينة تُعزى إلى المتغيرات التالية: الجنس، التخصص، الاتصال السابق بالأفراد ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثتان المنهج الوصفي المسحي باستخدام استبانة كأداة لجمع بيانات الدراسة. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (351) طالب وطالبة من طلبة كلية التربية بإحدى الجامعات السعودية الحكومية بالمنطقة الوسطى. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة ارتفاع تصورات أفراد العينة تجاه التعليم ما بعد الثانوي للأفراد ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة في التصورات تبعاً لمتغير الجنس لصالح الإناث، بينما لم توجد فروق ذات دلالة في الاستجابات تبعاً لمتغير التخصص. كما توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة في الاستجابات تُعزى لمتغير الاتصال السابق بالأفراد ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية لصالح التواصل الشخصي في الحياة العامة. This study aimed to identify perceptions of Education college students toward postsecondary education for individuals with intellectual disabilities. In addition, detect the differences in the participants' responds attributed to (sex, major, and previous interaction with individuals with intellectual disabilities). The sample consisted of 351students (male and female) from an educational college at a Saudi university in the central region The researcher followed the descriptive survey design. The results showed that the participants had high positive perceptions towards postsecondary education for individuals with intellectual disabilities. In addition, the study found that there were statistically significant effect in the mean of the sample responses related to the sex and previous interaction with individual with intellectual disabilities. The results indicated that females showed higher perceptions than males. In addition, participants who had personal interaction in daily life showed higher perceptions than those who studied with individual with intellectual disabilities. On the other hand, there were no statistically significant in the mean of the participants'' responses related to the study major. (Published abstract)
