هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف إلى فاعلية برنامج قائم على التكامل الحسي في خفض بعض مظاهر اضطراب الحساسية اللمسية لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد، وقد استخدمت هذه الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي - تصميم الحالة الواحدة- المتمثل في تصميم التقصي المتعدد (multiple Probe Baseline) حيث تكونت عينة الدراسة من (3) أطفال ملتحقين بمركز بوابة سمسم للرعاية النهارية بجدة، تم تدريبهم باستخدام برنامج قائم على التكامل الحسي بهدف خفض اضطراب المعالجة الحسية اللمسية والمتمثل في فرط حساسية لمس الماء. وأفادت نتائج الدراسة فعالية البرنامج التدريبي، حيث حقق أفراد العينة الهدف العام وهو: غسل اليدين بنسبة نجاح (100%) في ثلاث جلسات متتالية. وذلك يُحتّم على الباحثين تطوير أساليب القياس والتشخيص لاضطرابات المعالجة الحسية واختبار فعالية المزيد من الأساليب والإجراءات التعليمية بهدف الوصول إلى أساليب فعالة تلبي احتياجات الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد وبالتالي تساهم في زيادة قدراتهم الإدراكية والاستقلالية. This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a program based on sensory integration to reduce some symptoms of tactile sensory processing disorder in children with autism spectrum disorder. This study used a single case design approach (multiple probe baseline design across subject). The study sample consisted of (3) children enrolled in the Sesame Gate Center in Jeddah. They were trained using a sensory integration program to reduce tactile sensory processing disorder, Especially in hypersensitivity to water. The results of the study reported the effectiveness of the program based on sensory integration where the study sample achieved the general goal: hand washing with a success rate (100%) in three sessions. This requires researchers to develop methods of measurement and diagnosis of sensory processing disorders and test the effectiveness of more methods and educational procedures in order to reach more effective methods to meet the needs of students with autism spectrum disorder and thus contribute to increase their cognitive abilities and independence.
