Current research aimed at the preparation of an educational guide suitable for the mothers of the nursery children in the rural environment, to train the mothers on certain parental skills and providing them with information and knowledge to help them in dealing with their children in nursery stage, and providing them with physical, psychological and social care, where the research sample consisted of 60 mothers of nursery children in rural environment, where they were divided into two groups, with 30 mothers in experimental group, and 30 mothers in the control group where most of the sample members were mothers of 2 to 4 years old nursery children, living in rural environment, and their economic and social levels were similar, and were between 25 to 37 years of age. The current research used Parental Skills Scale for the mothers of the nursery children in the rural environment (prepared by the Researcher) and the educational guide for developing parental skills for mothers of the nursery children in the rural environment (prepared by the Researcher), and quasi experimental method was used. The research results arrived at that there are statistically significant differences in the pre and post measurements after implementation of the educational guide for the development of the parental skills by the mothers, while there were no statistically significant differences in the post and follow up measurements on the Parental Skills Scale, meaning the continuity of the educational guide effectiveness one month after implementation.
