This research aimed at evaluating the reading book for the second grade of primary school from the viewpoint of male and female teachers who taught the book. To achieve this, the research was conducted on a sample consisting of (51) male and female teachers who used the content of the book, the means and activities in the book, questions and means of evaluation). The results of the research showed that the teachers’ appreciation level for the reading book was generally high, as the overall estimate rate for the book and in the fields was (71.1). Also, the results showed that the teachers’ appreciation level for the various book magazines was: The overall appearance of the book (75.8) The book’s introduction (68.6) The content of the book (71.2), The Means and Activities in the Book (74.5) The Means of the Calendar Means Included in the Book (76.1).
